Copper Palace Kinosh Zhokjamurr
Purpose / Function
Originally built by Precursors in age unknown, the large structure complex probably served as a local governmental centre, overseeing the admninistration of the whole outpost, in- and Offplanet.
Today it serves as the capitol of The Deshivohai Independant Government, access to it being restricted to citizens only.
Architecture
As with all Precursor structures, the architecture of the complex is incredibly intricate, affirming, once again, the greatness of the Precursor empire and pride in their planning.
The grandeur of the structures fully reflects the sheer abundance of resources the Precursors had at their fingertips.
Of particular notice the floral theme along its surface, along the side and the colonnade before the entrance, further clue of the deep connections the Precursors felt towards nature, a theme visible in most of their architecture and pictorial work.
From the outside, no glass is visible, only light strings and canals following the building's lines and design.
From the inside, allegedly, the building opens up with wide windows made out of a single panel with no visible seams, the "glass" if touched or pressed upon slightly moves to accommodate the hand, it's warm to the touch and very resistant to impacts.
It has also been observed that Precursor structures have no doors as the building will just open one alongside the walls when someone approaches and signals for one to open; the main "door" is situated in the centre of the colonnade, however, it's not clear the difference between entering from the main entrance or along the walls.
The intricate motif along with the colonnade's ceiling, both sculptural and pictorial, is reminiscent of plants and animals from Nijin-Konai itself.
The backside of the structure, sustained by the main floral decoration, is a complex double archway running up to the top of the palace, apparently, that too is a functional section of the building, with "offices" and lodges built-in.
Due to the only testimonials of the internal structure coming from Palatials, it is important to understand that all information is unconfirmed and thus should be treated as nothing more than word of mouth.
History
The history of the structure Prior to human colonization is unknown.
The site, first discovered shortly after humanity's arrival, is surrounded by an invisible "shield" that makes it impossible for sophonts to access the area but letting animals and plants pass through freely; attaching a camera on top of an animal only resulted in the camera being completely dematerialized while passing through the field, the animal passing unscathed.
When, in 2531, The Deshivohai Independant Government was founded, the structure was officially claimed by the Deshivohai that, until that point, only occupied it under no official government as the capitol of their nation.
The complex's shield now lets palatials pass, although the access remains impossible to anyone from outside the states, meaning tourists will only be able to visit newly built structures with the original Precursor structures remaining protected by the owners.

I particularly like the details of the glass moving under someone's touch, and the shield that keeps everyone out.
