Shimreen are relatively new to the awareness of other life in the Galaxy. As a result of their isolationist behavior. They are very untrusting of flesh based organisms as the prospect is very alien to them. They are willing but cautious to have interactions with others, an ever growing necessity as they expand in the universe.
