Blackstone Trading Guild

The Blackstone Trading Guild is a major player in eastern Farlis. This Dwarven owned guild has trading outposts and establishments in the Arendor States, Carthen, Terios and Mervidel. Their largest outpost in Terios is located a bit to the north of Monesdia along the major trade route between Carthen and Terios. Although the guild specialises in trade of various goods it also has its own military force to guard their caravans. If a person wants to buy or sell a specific rare item then dealing with the Blackstone Guild will give the best chance of success but the guild will also take a large margin of the profit.
Originally the guild was formed by a single clan from Carthen called the Blackstones, but after almost two centuries of expansion the management of the guild has changed many times. Several clans and companies have been taken over by the guild making it the large guild that it is today. The current management lies in the hands of the Stelan clan known for its great weapon crafting. In the last few decades however the Blackstone clan has started to regain much of it’s old influence and wealth which causes tension with the Stelan clan.
