Wquater the floating disk

Wquater it’s a floating village with the general shape of a circle of 1000 foot radius with a hole in the center of 350 foot diameter. The village it’s made by separated rectangular modules held together by thick rope, like a hanging rope and wood bridge so tight together that there’s no falling between modules risk, this structure sit on a complex disjointed group of wooden boxes partially under water, this property allows the city to mimic the general shape of the water underneath having sometimes tenths of foots unevenness across the main floor. The buildings of Wquater are never bigger than his own module, the stories tell that this is because they were voyagers and a day decided to settle in, so they tie their boats together and let other join with their own, tying Wquater into existence. Most of Wquater buildings are house for their inhabitants, but there are a few who have more than one objective, this places would be the warehouse, a mill, the school, the navigation house. Also there are small modules working as roads or parks. Wind and salty water always runs on the deck of Wquater, kids love to throw their lightweight toys in the air and chase them as they seem to flee. The night sky it’s one of the biggest spectacles if there’s no clouds on it, the stars fill the dark void of the space with white dots, the horizon eats the sky, and the water envious mimics his beautiful look. But even beauty as it seems the rose still have spines, during the night a rotating group of villagers keep watch on the water, the night it’s eating time for some of the most dangerous creatures, and the water turn to a deep black void impenetrable by the eyes for those who stay above the surface.
