Icebow Library

Structure

An academic village led by the the Mother Library and organized on the traditional Moon Elf culture. It is basically a university all children are raised in and encouraged to choose a field of study. All academic topics are researched and explored. The heirarchy is based on academic rigor and meritocracy with an emphasis on age. Only women may achieve the rank of Mother Library, who is  the eldest and most skilled Moon Elf in the Library. She holds the collective knowledge of the library as a backup to their archives. This knowledge is transferred from one Mother to the next.

History

The Icebow Library was founded over 2000 years ago on the traditional Moon Elfe model. It is notable for being the home of Aryen and Riordan who became part of the Main Party.

All community members are raised as scholars from childhood and remain a member of the institution unless exiled. This is a rigorous training and apprenticeship that emphasizes discovery, study, magic and research methods. This education makes Moon Elves the best scholars in the world.
