Ishtar

Home of the Swan Tower, Ashtar is the scholary centre of the world. It said that the white marble tower houses the knowledge of the past waiting to be unlocked, but sadly as of this time very few have mastered the level of ability needed to even begin understanding what is written. The city is an oddly quite place in this chaotic world, home of many scholars and other learned sorts.
The streets of Ishtar contain the normal affairs of a city, but also you will find shops selling magic trinkets, books and scrolls, historians, achelogists and pretty much any other profession that require thought and discipline to master. While rowdy inns and tavern do exists many are filled with philosphers who spend the day mulling over the mysterious of the past while drink fruit wines or tea.
Despite its calm and placid nature Ishtar is a force not to be triffled with for if it were to bring its full force of power to bare, no nation would stand against it. This alone has what keeps the city a calm and quiet place with no rivals waiting at its doorstep.
