Tetsana Valley
Demographics
The valley's resident demographic is entirely Avian, all with bird-of-prey features that signify their mountainous heritage. Botanism and carpentry are common trades in the town, alongside the steelworking that defines the town's reputation for combat. On the subject of combat, Tetsana Valley has a group of residents that serve as guards from the valley, assuring that conflict doesn't reach the settlement.
Industry & Trade
Tetsana Valley's martial steelworking skill is known globally to be rivaled only by the Talos of the Nol Ridge, though the two settlements have very distinct styles of smithing. Thanks to the reputation that comes with this acclaim, steelmakers in the valley often export ingots of their work to other places around the world. In addition, carpenters often sell planks and furniture from the unique cherry trees that grow in the region.
Infrastructure
Nearly all of the settlement's buildings have been built off of the side of the region's mountains, including the windmills that provide rotational power, and pavillions that store the settlement's material assets. Smithies and furnaces have been dug out directly from the mountain, creating safe spaces to handle metal and fire.
Architecture
Tetsana Valley's cliffborne buildings take the form of open-air pavillions, with curved, circular roofs and pillars supporting the structure. These pavillions are often decorated with the blossoms found on trees, or paper lanters. Bridges are common in the valley, strung between the two mountains and decorated with the same lanterns that adorn the pavillions. As for the few grounded structures, stone spires were built for injured Avians or outsiders to access the main portion of the town.
