Fresia

This small realm that resides in the world of Noiraevum has been dominated by an era known as the age of mankind as all of the other races have been in decline from the old elven empires to the once abundant dwarven holds that now lay hollow. The realm of Fresia contains these races in smaller dominions of a mixture of these races from the now mercantile elves with their gnome friends to the dwarves and Dragonborn barely surviving in the north where the last remaining giants live. The gods even have become more silent as their powers are in a decline whilst the new pantheons are risen. Though not all the mythical races have been in decline as fiends and other planar creatures seek to wreak havoc now that the gods and their servants have weakened. The elves cannot do much with their superior knowledge of magic as they are too low in number to deal with the threat. Whilst the dwarves are too busy dealing with giants and creatures of the Underdark to be able to lend a helping hand. Thus the newly formed human nation known as the empire rose from a collection of human kingdoms to deal with this threat as united humans are strong. And thus the current balance is formed as of 2050 CC (common calander).
