Ordo Regus Custodia

The Emperor's personal guards were formed after the turmoil caused by the assassination of Akana, the emperor's daughter. This organization works only to protect the Imperial family from both threats in the open and the threats in the shadow. This group is more than just guards and knights. They train spies and mages to serve the emperor for whatever task he desires they exist to serve the emperor and only the emperor, not even the gods will stand between in their loyalties.
Recruitment to this prestigious order is oddly not restrictive as instead of limiting it to nobles or other high prestigious order the only requirement for being able to come to this order is showing that you have committed yourself to the emperor through a blood oath and screening of their mind. This makes sure that any person who comes to the order is ready to serve it to even death or maybe even past it. After the selection, they are put into the train to be the elite guard for the emperor.

Culture

The focus of this order is to serve the emperor whether he is a genius of all things or the most incompetent craven to ever exist on the throne they serve to protect him to maintain the stability of the empire. They also act as the show of the empire's might and guardians to its citizens when it comes to a parade. This organization prides itself in its prestige and elitism as they a nurtured to be such and are given the best of what the empire has to offer in terms of equipment quality as well as choice though many prefer the versatile longsword.

They strive for the protection of the emperor, his assets and his family. Their mission is also to find any information that the emperor wants from his most loyal agents.

Assets

They are funded by the empire and all the wealth that their backers have such as family or friends within the order. The choice they do get is from every piece that can be gotten even from the tinker's guild though they prefer things that have at least went through the engineers. The quantity that they have access to is only limited to the empire's current economy/
