Savisa

The southern half of the continent of Savisa is home to two nations whose tumultuous relationship has lasted almost as long as memory. To the north of Satara-Visava lies a frozen wasteland populated by nomadic tribes and strange beasts. What lies beyond the polar ice is unknown, although it is theorised that another continent may be reachable if only the trek were survivable.   The Polar Waste covers the northern region of Noirox from the northern tip of Savisa all the way to the Unknown Continent on its opposite side. It is sparsely populated and highly inhospitable. Satara is a militaristic nation. Land is owned by a noble caste of knights who essentially own their tenant farmers. Every Sataran is trained for war as part of the levy system, and even its spiritualism is expressed through martial focus.   Visava is a nation built on commerce and ruled by the Imperial Family, who trace their lineage back to a conquering hero-king. Visavans are known for their wordplay, which is said to be as lethal as any Sataran blade.
