Alvandis

This article is by far a work in progress. More information about the deities will come as the timelines of The Shatter unravel. Beyond this, there are elements of the gods that are kept secret from those who are players among these realms. Alvandis, The Red Moon's Eye, is one of The Deceiver Gods. She shares a kinship with Exa being the only other member of The Shattered Pantheon who was once a mortal being.

Descrption

Depiction

As a former mortal champion, depictions of Alvandis can often rely on the known image of her form to exalt it to the godhood she achieved. Yet as time has passed on these depictions have been warped somehow, with an intense focus on distorting her original features by either changing them to something else entirely, or by having them seem to fade to obscurity. As a result, there are few depictions that show Alvandis' mortal form, yet many showing different altered version of her deific form. This section will highlight the appearances in both.

A Mortal Champion

The most true depiction of the mortal known as Alvandis Narishna is considered to be lost to time, all that is left is accounts of those who survived several incidence in which they were involved in.

The Divine Being

The DIvine Depiction of Alvandis is prominent in several regions of the world by those who wish to examine the moon Cauldius. She is often given a feminine human form, though at least one of her ears is almost always pointed. Often the second ear is covered by her crimson flowing hair that falls to her mid-back. In many depictions she is wearing armor that is primarily made of a very dark brown, almost black, leather, at one side is the Blade of Eternal Sorrows and on the other a thick blade that started straight and then curved to a crescent shape, this type of blade is known as a Rita'sonesh. While she has weapons on either side, Alvandis is often depicted wielding a staff. This staff is often made of a gnarled length of wood and is filled with runic symbols from all around the world's languages and cultures. This staff is often capped on both ends, one with a simple gold cap for striking the ground. The other is a large black gem that seems to sink away to the depths of space and beyond.
