Tral'Vokar

What does one become in the absence of dreams?
When one cannot hope for the cotinuance of everything?
Even you, Master of Darkness, Purvador of Minds, even you dream for something in the end.
— Tral'Vokar to Azrovil
Tral'Vokar, or the Lord of Dreams, is the third born of the Dual Idols and the being conceptualised and functionally forms Dreams and Nightmares.

History

The name of the dream lord, or one who presides over the dreaming of other creatures is said to be a title passed down between people who ascend to their role as the dream's lord. Tral'Vokar is only the most recent to bear this tile. To many, their history remains unkonwn and still does to those who become intimate followers of them. It is in the clerical appreciation and worship of Tral'Vokar that even a fragment of their history is unveiled.   They first rose to their full position as the Lord of Dreams near the beginning of The Shatter. This being the case, many of their first actions were in fact that of a warmonger, one who was particularly callous in their actions. To many minds, their actions at the beginng of The Shatter were rather vengful and fueled by their life as a moratl before their ascendence.   However, after the first few years of The Shatter, their demeanor changed, drastically. They were no longer a warmonger, nor even a fighter. They were just fuelled with anger and hatred that seemed to consume their entire being. A greif and loss that seemed to unbearable for Tral'Vokar to endure. As a result, their actions were barbariac and disasterous at times. They went from filling the dreams and minds of many people with dreams of saddening loss and an anger that was unbelievable for even the most brutal people to behold. This variant of The Dream Lord only remained for a single year. It was known by some as "The Year when Sleep fell Still".   There has been very little hope regarding the truth of the matter, however there are swaths of people who have claimed to met The Dream Lord in the course of   Tral'Vokar the embodiment of all a creature’s dreams and nightmares. He is aware of all creature’s fears and at the same time all the creature’s hopes for the future. He spends his time creating new spirits that become perceived by the mortals as they slumber.   As of 755 AR, Tral’Vokar spends his immortal life primarily in Nexus. Nexus is a plane that allows creatures to walk through from their realm into the true plane of Dream or Nightmate, both locations controlled by the powers of Tral’Vokar to help guide and dissuade the mortal realm and its denizens. This is also the realm that throws people into the divine conciousness, or realm, of a deity who wishes to speak with them, for even deities cannot take control of the realm of dreams, Tral'Vokar is their only influencer.
