Dual Idols

The Dual Idols are a collective pantheon who are the governers of multicultural and wide reaching concepts throughout the planes.

Description

The deities of the world all arrived or were created by another deity, as such they are considered by some to be aberrant, otherworldly or on occassion, constructs. However, The Dual Idols are far from it, they are considered to be older than even the most ancient of gods. While deities are typically granted a domain based on their personality, however, the Dual Idols are representative and at the same time, the embodyment of the concept that they govern. Yet, they also define the opposite of the concept, creating the concepts of both aspects within a life.
Unlike other deities, the Dual Idols are considered to be immortal but not invulnerable. There are documented cases of the Dual Idols changing over the course of the centuries due to invocations of new variations of the concept they represent. While each of the Dual Idols exist in the minds of the mortal beings as deities, their base essence is instead a Primordial beings also know as an Eternal. Each Eternal is still able to travel through the different planes, and through the Tynau when such an ocassion arises.
