Feral Blades

The Feral Blades is a Sword Training academy located in the Freeport Eastern District. Unlike most Martial academies, the Feral Blades emphasis an instinctual combat technique, rather than a studies and observational technique. It teaches it's student basic maneuvers, strikes and parries, and then teaches them to use those tool based on feeling and intuition rather than observing their opponent and analyzing their movements.

It is a controversial method of sword training that has been denounced by many accomplished sword masters and academies. It is only effective for a small population od student who seem to have the Knack for feeling their way through a battle. Most students who try to study the technique fail at it.

Even with its reputation, the school school still gets plenty of student, usually those that do not do well in the more strict martial academies.

The Sword master that runs the Feral Blades, Baron Yohan Von Forten, a native of Arnonia, opened the school and has been the main instructor since its start. While many people thing the teaching of the school may be a sham, none can say the same of the Baron, as he is a skilled swordsman.
