Followers of The Nameless One

The Nameless One Some believe there is a fifteenth God. One who sits apart from all the others. A counterpart to the Great Librarian. One who embodies secrets, instead of knowledge, One who represent Betrayal, Shadows, Lies and Hidden things. Some say that this God sits behind the others manipulating events like a puppet master, using the other Gods as tools.
Some even say this God was mortal, and has ascended but has wiped all knowledge of his existence from the word. Those that worship him do so in secret, pretending to be followers of another more socially acceptable deity. Those that pay him homage are the people who live a life of secrets, and lies. Spies, Thieves, members of esoteric societies. People who seek to rule from the shadows.
They say he makes his home on the Plane of shadow, where everything is but an illusion of something real, and where he can keep watch on all the world, without revealing himself. His purpose is unknown. His motivations, a secret even from his most devout worshipers. His power, unrevealed but said to be unrivaled. If he exists, what part does he play in our world? Does he mean us harm? What awaits us if he were to come from the shadows? If he exists.
