House Olana

House Olana (O-LA-na) Is a great house of Elvenhome, composed of historians and teachers. Ellasti who have a passion for history, whether studying it, or passing it to other are accepted into House Olana.
Much of Elven history is passed on through traditional means, such as stories and songs, it is not a surprise that House Olana is filled with artists of all type. While the bards carry the history of the Ellasti in their memories, the truth these stories hold can change from teller to teller. To avoid that the elves also scribe their history onto scrolls as well. Therefore Scribe are also welcome in House Olana.
Then there are the Mind Stones. The elves have a strong connection to their History, and have taken even more precautions with leepign that knowledge preserved. They created three powerful Mind Stones. These stones, when bonded to an elf, store all that elf has seen, or heard, of felt as well as what they experience going forward after the bonding. It is a great honor to be chosen a bearer of a mind stone. Two of the bearers dedicate their lives to traveling across the Elven lands collecting knowledge from Ellasti and even other races when appropriate. House Olana is responsible for preparing an Elf for the bonding to a mind stone.
Once every ten year, the bearers of the mind stones return back to elvenhome and share the knowledge they have gathered with each other and the Lorekeeper. The lorekeeper stays in the city, so there is always a complete record safe from harm.
