Naevys Ravencall

Neavys Ravencall (a.k.a. The Archon)

Naevys Ravencall is the leader of House Ravencall. She is a skilled tracker and scout, and has served as such in the Elven Core, but recently she has been in charge of the Aspen knights, a group of Ellasti who are responsible for keeping peace in the city, and investigating crimes.

Naevys is more of a progressive than most of the House leaders. She is youngest to lead a house, and popular with the younger Ellasti. Her ideas are more open than most of the older Elves on the council, and this causes some tension between her and some of the other leaders.

She is known for her intelligence and perceptive nature. Not much escapes her notice and she is great at putting together pieces of information to understand the whole story. She teaches these skills to the Aspen Knights, so they can watch for any unusual activity in the city, and ensure peace.

Naevys is usually accompanied by her per hawk, Ruark.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Naevys is in peak physical shape for an elf of her size.  She trains often and is stronger and faster then many of her kin.

Body Features

Naevys is average build, with greater than average upper body strength.  Her arms and shoulder are well defined due to her work with archery.

Apparel & Accessories

Naevys dresses in elven Chain most often, and carries a large Elven Longbow.  She also carries an Elven Longsword and dagger.  She favors earth colors.  When casual, she tends to wear soft leather, and is rarely found in a dess of other elaborate outfit.

Specialized Equipment

Naevys' bow is enchanted and was given to her by the King as a reward for her work in capturing Zar Sur.

Personal history

Naevys was born to a lesser house and had a pretty normal upbringing. She was never recruited by House Aralyn as she was not as skilled a fighter as some other Elesti. She has always wanted to join the core though, and trained hard, becoming a skilled scout and expert archer.  Though her strongest skill was clearly her mind.  Naevys usually the most intelligent person in the room, and very little passed without her noticing.  She could have become a powerful Magic user, but her first love was always the Elven Core.  
Naevys joined the core when she was old enough as a scout and was one of the best they had.  She one day received an offer from Rathiain Aralyn to join House Aralyn and become his Consort.  She understood the offer to mean that she could only have one, if she said yes to the other.  Disgusted by the offer, as she had no interest in the older elf, no anyone of his gender, she refused, violently.  Given her standing, there was no repercussion to the Elven Lord.  
Naevys took some time away from the core to think about things, and while living in the city, notice some strange going ons.  She investigated, and found that the Dark Elf Zar Sur had not fled the city after being discovered working dark magic, but had been hiding in Elvenhome.  Naevys was able to piece out where he had been staying and what he had been doing, and saw that he had been putting together a plan to cause the city great harm.  She went to the King, and though she was dismissed by most of the council, the King gave her a token which she could use to against the Wizard if she encountered him.  
Naevys planted several false stories of an artifact that the Dark Elf could use outside Elvenhome.  When he tried to retrieve the Artifact, she used the token to imprison him and return him to the the city.  The King and council elevated her house to a great Noble house. as reward.  The also asked her to lead up a groups of elves whose job it would be to keep peace in the city, but staying alert and investigating issues, rather then using the military to react after the fact.  
Naevys now leads the Aspen Knights.

Education

Naevys received the same education that any elf child would, and then focused her training on Sword, Bow and scouting.  Despite that focus, she is extremely intelligent and had learned many other skills that help her in her training of the Aspen Knights.  She is very well educated for a warrior.

Employment

Vaevys was first a member of the Elven Core, the main military branch of Elvenhome.  There she served as a scout.  When her house was elevated, she left the core to lead the Aspen Knights.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Naevs has won many prizes for her skill in archery and accolades for her work as a scout, but her greatest achievement, that she is most known for is the capture of the Dark Elf Zar Sur.

Naevys is extremely observant, and excellent at putting pieces of information together to tell a story.  She can tell many things about a person just by observing them.

Morality & Philosophy

Naevys believes in the good for all.  She is at odds with some of the people on the council, for her belief that Elves should be helping the other races of Nor.

Family Ties

Neavys has two sisters who as members of her house, along with her parents are now also part of the nobelity.  She is close to both and her parents.  She has no partner, or children.

Social Aptitude

Naevys is not very skilled in the politics and social structure of the nobelity.  She tends to speak her mind, and is direct.  While she attends public functions as befits her station, she does not care much for the interactions.  She would rather be working.

Hobbies & Pets

Naevys had a pet Hawk, Ruarc that she bonded with.  He accompanies her everywhere and through the bond is much more powerful than a normal hawk.

With house Ravencall's elevation as a great house, Naevys would be concidered a member of the Elven nobility.
