Session 6 Report
General Summary
The groups decided to seek out more information on the Sword that was mentioned in th eletter from the cultists. They said it wqas supposed to have been in Blord, and was the Sword of Michael Griffon.
Since there was no sword in the village, the party did some digging and found that several crewmember survived the sacking of Blord. They had taken the SeaLord'sClemency and gave up their lives as pirates. Two of them still had family living in the city.
The party visited the Cross-Bones Chicken shack which was owned by two brothers that were the great grandkids of the crew member from ship that sacked Blord. They discovered not only one of the best food shack in town, but that the brother had actually inherited a sword from their father like the one the party was looking for. He was willing to sell it and the party bought it.
The sword definitely had the Griffon Family crest and though it was enchanted is was definitely not the power artifact that Michael Griffin was said to possess. In fact it was most likely a weapon that was made for one of his sons. While the brothers did not know anything aboutt he griffon family, and only knew of the sword because it was looted from Blord, the sword did have a maker's mark on it. Something that might lead the group to more information about the griffon family.
When the party exited the house of the brother they found that Yanasi was attacked by Sewer Goblins and Newt stolen. The party traced the goblins to the sewers but didn't know where in the sewers they might be, so they visited Giedas and learned the location of the Sewer Goblin's lair.
The Group travelled the sewers running into a Goblin trap and some unsavory Hobgoblins and eventually found the Sewer Goblin King, and Newt. Getting new back was not easy though, as the Goblin king has a strange contraption that could throw fire 30 feet away. Through courage and ingenuity the group wa able to kill the king and the party recovered the goblin Clockwork.
