When both the moons of Nor are in the New Moon Phase, this is what is known as True Night. It is a day when Dark Magical Energy is at it's strongest and a powerful day for thoes who believe in the Nameless One.

Mages who specialize in Shadow Magic are especially strong, and thier illusion or shadows are even more powerful than normal. Rituals that use dark energy are also stronger during the true night, making it a popular night for evil rituals.


The Magic of the Shadow Plane is so close on this night, that it can manifest in the material form, based on the fears of people, especially nightmares. Many people spend the night awake with lanterns burning, in order to protect themselves from this power.
