Shezaku Serpens (a.k.a. Third Generation Fang of the Snake)

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Shezaku keeps himself in peak physical condition, both from regimented training as well as practical application and diet. Though he does often relax and take things slowly, he is determined to maintain his physique.

Facial Features

Shezaku's face is sleek and smooth looking, keeping his face clean of blemishes of facial hair, which he detests.

Identifying Characteristics

Shezaku can be identified by a rather obvious tattoo that adorns his entire body of a snake coiling about him. The tattoo begins with the form of the snake's tail wrapping itself around his right arm, ending with the mouth of the snake enclosing around his left eye.

Special abilities

As the carrier of the Fang Blade, Shezaku has access to all of the abilities of the Demon from which the blade was created. Specifics are not well publicly known since he and the previous wielders of the blade have kept their abilities under wraps. It is assumed that he has access to the Apex form, a form seen to be available to Fang Bladers by taking on a likeness to the demon of old.

Apparel & Accessories

Shezaku wears a traveling robe of black, with the design of a coiling snake wrapping around it, the head of the creature resting above his left pectoral. He also fondly wears a wide brimmed farmers hat, decorated by two dangling trinkets.

Specialized Equipment

As a Fang Blader, Shezaku carries with him the legendary blade, strapped to a harness on his back. When upright, the blade comes to just below his chin, the pommel standing a bit higher than the top of his head.

Personal history

Shezaku was born to Nuro and Shezuku Serpens in the Hercules District of Prime City. In his early life, he was a strong willed and adventurous boy. He grew up between the streets and courtyards of Prime City, befriending many young urchins, like Kelin Ansel. Though his family is a traditionally noble family, under Shezuku's patriarchy, the family took a step back from politics, focusing entirely on their calling as loyal Vassals to the Fang Blade of the Snake, of which, Shezuku was the Second to wield the blade. When Shezaku was a young teen, he had been well educated, both by tutors as well as on the streets with his friends, gaining himself a wealth of resources in the form of friendships and acquaintances. Though he strayed away from actions that would have been considered illegal, he was known to take the fall for companions that were not cunning enough to not get caught. This worried his mother, Nuro, but his father took care to teach Shezaku the errors of that manner quite frequently.When Shezaku was sixteen years old, a prisoner of war from the Tullus Household broke into his family home and challenged Shezuku for the right to wield the Fang. Due to trickery and foul tactics, Shezuku was slain, but not before declaring his son the rightful successor of the blade, should he be able to best the intruder. Thanks to the wieght of the blade in the intruder's hands, Shezaku bested him and took up the fang, becoming the youngest person to wield a Fang in the history of the order. After burying his father, and venturing to Mount Fang to be sworn into service, Shezaku set about collecting his Vassals. He began with his betrothed, Naomi Bara, then his long time friends, Kelin and Vaughner, then the Snake Sage Seracuz. He would later go on to accept the second Bara Sister, Sona, and the war hero Shen. Together, Shezaku and his Vassals would travel across the world, felling demons and exploring the ancient and dormant places in the world. However, their journey would be interrupted by a great event in the Hiawatch desert, which saw to the death of Vaughner and the self imposed exile of Shezaku. He has not been seen or heard from since, not even from his own Vassals.

Education

Shezaku is a well traveled individual, receiving little formal education of his own, he traveled from place to place in his younger years, acquiring knowledge and educating himself in the practical sense. He did receive formal combat training from his father, Shezui. and was taught to think critically by the Old Wolf Orion Blackwell.

Employment

Shezaku works for the organization known as the Fang Bladers. It is a charge he accepted at the age of sixteen and has sworn to take the charge to his death, as do all in that order

Accomplishments & Achievements

Shezaku was the youngest to ever take up the charge as a Fang Blader and has been called the Young Snake, until he grew out of the name.

Failures & Embarrassments

Shezaku is currently missing the world over, no one can find him. Many speculate that due to the event that occurred six years ago in the Hiawatch Desert, an event known only as the Shaking, Shezaku imposed a self exile to wander the world as punishment for what occurred. No one truly knows what happened or why Shezaku has not been seen since, but it is clear there is a burden he carries because of it.

Mental Trauma

Shezaku watched his father, Shezui die in front of his eyes. Shezui was set upon by a murmuring gang of cut throats, seeking to steal the Fang Blade from him and use it to their own nefarious purposes. The very same night Shezui died was the night Shezaku took up the blade himself and brutally butchered the assailants.
