Panen
Panen, Outcast of the Gods
***This article is an incomplete placeholder to be exPanended on later*** Panen, also known the Crippled Monarch or the Scribe of Fates, was the final child of Artur and Elanaah. Born with a small, frail body and mature from birth, Artur was disappointed in this child after Jerun and Kiran. He blamed Elanaah's affair with Sturn that left her tainted, decreeing this their final child. Panen turned out far above a sickly mistake, however. He bore the large wings of a butterfly that helped him stay aloft as he travelled by his parents' side, and began telling them their fates along with the rest of their creations. Artur sent him away to live in exile, though the reason being to empower him or out of disgust has been widely debated.Appearance and Depictions
Panen bears the form of an Ehlen with a all and scrawny build. He has four arms like his sister Dahlia, but his legs remain normal. His most distinguishing feature is his the large set of monarch butterfly wings sprouting from his back. His raggedy white hair often covers his tired but kind face. Emblems depicting his worship will often display an hourglass with butterfly wings sprouting from it. Artwork depicting him will often show a younger version of himself, travelling in tow with Artur and Elanaah, or him invested in transcribing fates in his workshop.Powers and Followers
Panen has a deep connection to Nora's blood, and therefore, all life throughout the world. He is able to discern the location of living beings, provided they are on or beneath Nora's surface. He is a powerful fortuneteller, and can very accurately foretell how an individual will eventually die, along with a rough estimate of when. He does not wield any weapons, for he has never seen a need for them. The other gods describe a 'peaceful aura' emanating from him, that seems to calm the aggression of any nearby hostility. Followers of Panen are found among sages, fortune tellers, and generally lonesome people. Those trying to discern their future or that of others will pray to Panen for easy and accurate readings. Being outcast by his parents, lonely souls will also reach out to him for guidance on how to deal with it, as he preaches to find purpose in solitude, finding great purpose and happiness in dedicated work.
