Dwarf

Dwarves are a natural humanoid race common through most of the world. Dwarves are a tough, tradition-abiding folk known for their strong martial traditions and beautiful craftsmanship. Most large Dwarfs communities form isolated enclaves that seek to minimize contact with the outside world. Dwarfs that fail to fit in those rigid societal norms often find them self banished, finding a new home in the larger cities of the world.
Dwarfs are organized in a rigid Clan structure. Social status is strictly limited by the Clan a Dwarf is born into. A new Clan can be founded by a Dwarf of high renown - usually such an honor is related to either a military achievement or the development of a new crafting technique. The name of the Clan is always related to the feat is had been founded upon.
