Council of the Hills
The Council of the Hills is a group of five leaders who oversee the affairs of Blackwater, a city nestled in the treacherous Hills of Shade. Each member of the council represents a different aspect of Blackwater's society and has a specific role to play in governing the city. The council meets regularly to discuss important issues and make decisions that affect the city as a whole.
Branwen Redbeard
A Dwarven blacksmith who has lived in Blackwater for over 50 years. Branwen is responsible for overseeing the town's infrastructure and ensuring that buildings and roads are well-maintained. She also oversees all the blacksmiths in the only forge in town.Elara Stormchaser
A charismatic and ambitious Half Elf ranger and the leader of a group of tomb raiders and adventurers. She is known for her courage, her intelligence, and her ability to outsmart the traps and guardians of the ancient tombs. She functions as the head of the city's scouts. A wise and thoughtful Wood Elf, Nara is a druid, who has spent most of her life studying the flora and fauna of the Hills of Shade. She is known for her deep knowledge of the natural world, and for her ability to heal and protect the people of Blackwater. She is also the one who inexplicably manages the sparce greenery inside the city walls.Korgoth Stoneheart
A fierce and imposing Goliath who stands as a bulwark of strength and resilience on the Council of the Hills. His imposing figure and unyielding demeanor command respect and obedience from his fellow council members and the people of Blackwater alike. Korgoth is known for his unwavering commitment to the safety and prosperity of Blackwater, and he often serves as a mediator between the other council members when there are disagreements. As a Goliath, he is well-suited to the harsh and unforgiving terrain of the Hills of Shade, and his endurance and survival skills are invaluable to the community's ongoing struggle against the dangers of the wilderness.
