Yarver Brightmoon

Yarver spent his early years tending to his parents' garden, working closely with the druids of Rivervale to produce excellent Jum Jum berries.
In 5384, the Goblins of Clan Runny Eye, emboldened for some unknown reason, brazenly attacked Yarver's home city of Rivervale. They did not breach the city, or even make it passed the Wall of Serilis, but many of those who dwell outside the city in the Misty Thicket were affected. Yarver and his family were out of the city walls when the attack happened, and his parents were killed and he was kidnapped.
He spent several days imprisoned by them, of which he remembers nothing. His last memory of the situation is waking bloodied and exhausted on a mountain peak with a spherical piece of glass bound to his hand. Invigorated by a sort of divine energy, Yarver made his way down the mountains back to Misty Thicket, where he was found by the druids of the Misty Thicket druid ring.
The druids cared for him, treated his wounds, and gave him safe haven at the rings where he could rest. Over the years, he spent many days and nights with the druids of the ring. Once able, he became an apprentice of Belgo Crancake, the leader of this small group of druids, and began his studies of druidic magic. Though he learned much, he still had answers regarding his powers, which were somehow different than that of the other druids in his home.
After much deliberation, he and the druids believed that Karana came to him in the mountains, but to what end they could not say. They conferred with other druidic groups across Antonica but ultimately found no satisfying answers. Belgo Crancake, being the emissary of Rivervale to the very friendly Elven city of Kelethin, offered to take Yarver on one of his diplomatic trips in hopes that the ancient Elves may have more insight into his queries.
Yarver feels an intense need to understand what happened to him all those years ago, and will travel Norrath and beyond to get the answers he seeks.

Miscellaneous Notes

• Yarver's family specializes in making jumjum juice, smashing the berries with their large, hairy feet. The Brightmoon blend is popular in Rivervale.
