Oberess is a brilliant but vile researcher, and practitioner of necromancy. Hailing from Graydirge of the country of Geb where necromancy flourishes as conjuration does in Korvosa. He is a traveler and collector of relics, favors and business partners. Using his magic to do whatever his clients will pay... extending life, creating minions, ruining ones enemies. For years he worked with his son until their sinister lives caught up to them and his son was killed. For many years he held a servant of his own most unique making, but the servant abandoned him. Now he continues his work in his later years with a monster of a servant. In the shadiest circles of the world Oberess is known as the Dark Doctor for his experiments and work he performs for the cruelest clientele.
