Damien Valkern, the greatest practitioner of arcane magic of the age, dared to defy the cosmos. Here he draws power from the ancient spellbooks he collected preparing himself to be the vessel of a deific spark.
Despite minor set backs from a troublesome pair of simpleton brutish crusaders, he has constructed the cradle that will birth the spark, then the Lunar Cry strips down the barriers between the material plane and the void, and finally the young girl, the prime born celestial is bound, waiting to be sacrificed to invoke the ritual.
