The Reign of Dayleona Stolyn

Its been 4 years since the passing of King Gavreel and the Coronation of Queen Dayleona
In that time many things happened that has changed the landscape and powers in this corner of Norrath.
First is in that time Queen Dayleona carried and bore a son Artorius Marshall Stolyn, named for the long ago patriarch of the Stolyn line, and to honor her late cousin and King Lincoln Ryme's best comrade and friend. The young prince is no exception to the Stolyn bloodline and is a handsome blonde haired blue eyed babe.
In more worldly news, Queen Dayleona has worked tirelessly to help her country and her people rebuild after the events of the war and the death of so many of her family and leaders of the nation of Rothynia. The City of Monuments, Magnimar has been completely destroyed by the invading devils and the archdevil that rooted itself there. Along with such devastation to the southern half of the beautiful country, Rothynia is facing some of its hardest times. Thousands upon thousands of refugees from the ruined towns and cities looking for something to feel normal again.
In true Rothynian Pride fashion, so many have offered what they could and many outreach programs have been put in place. Much of the personal funds of the Royal Family have been made available to the crown. Queen Dayleona and her council have made some treaties and alliances along with all the internal efforts for support. The most notable of which is the eastern neighbors The Hold of Belkzen, with an opportunistic political move they came with offerings of taking in much of the eastern people. While this was a permanent agreement, a 5 year plan was detailed to transition the borders. It was a hard decision but with more altruistic motives Queen Dayleona ultimately felt that for the good of the people living there she knew that her country couldn't provide as well in this time and that the change would save many lives that might otherwise be lost or struggle through a generation of turmoil.
While this was an impossible decision for any benevolent leader to make, and unfortunately the citizens were less than happy. They saw it as a sign of abandonment. Dayleona hopes that the dissention is more about the close personal nature and the pride of her people. In time maybe history will be kind and see her choice as the right one that saved more people and kept the citizens safe and taken care of.
Another important change was the country of Nidal to the south, while only a trade partner before a full alliance was made with the Theocratic Militant State, resources shared and interests discussed. Nidal formerly a country operated under the tenets of the vile deity Zon Kuthon, but has in the last few generations now heralds Pharasma and to a lesser extent Desna with a peculiar portfolio of ideals around death fate and dreams. This was an ally that King Gavreel had not reached out to due to his mistrust to partnering with a theocracy. But this was a choice to protect her people and she will always put them first.
The last major development was the terrifying discovery of a Runelord Stasis Temple belonging to Thybidos the Wrathful. This temple was buried deep under the Hollow Mountain at the large end of the Fox Archipelego. During the war the devils and Chelaxian forces spent a lot of their time there. Attempting to release Thybidos which would truly bring ruin. How his chamber was known to be there? and why Lord Vayne Kargath would seek to awaken him? are frightening questions that don't have answers.
It had been ordered to be quarantined off and defended to not be disturbed, lest the Mage King of Wrath be brought to this world. In the four years after the war and even with the choices by the new Queen, there are still difficult times of recovery from such an occupying war. Many lives have been lost and many lives are changed forever. But the future still holds a bright light with the Stolyn Family leading the way for Rothynia and her people.
