The Shattered Veil Event

Several months ago an anomaly occurred with the veil between the prime material and abyssal planes. Minor wretched denizens of hell came through terrorizing the Magnimarans. The lord mayor after hearing of a capable band fighting off these devils assigned Sebastian Cridicos to aid these heroes in seeking a relic the "Runeshield Orb of Baast" a holy artifact used by the cleric warrior Baast to banish and bind demons and devils.
Upon retrieving the orb from the collapsed caves that housed an ancient cult of demon worshippers. An archdevil, that Baast himself trapped as his last act as a hero, started to revive itself from the abyssal energies seeping into the plane. He chased the party from the caves but in his rampage dropped the mountain over the caves on his head crushing and killing him. They came back to the city that was nearly broken from the abyssal energy creating weather storms and earthquakes. The group successfully activated the Orb and cemented the veil back to its stable point. Being named the Heroes of Magnimar
Sadly not long after everyone of the heroes disappeared, died or angered Hextor the evil god of Tyranny and War except for Osa Aldermin who is now fighting in the Iron Peaks Vale.
