Abstenia: Void within a Void

 A place beyond time , at the outer edges of space, lies a deep and vast void, millions of light years wide named “Alshara’s Mercy”. Nothing exists in this void, except one large strange galaxy, sat right in the center. This galaxy makes a perfect ring, surrounding its own smaller void called the “Mouth of Abstenia”. Very little is known about this place, and the few who have had the displeasure and the unfortunate opportunity to discover Abstenia, have been met with horrors completely beyond comprehension. No one knows why or really how this strange place came to be, but perhaps some questions are better left unanswered.

History

Abstenia was originally discovered at the beginnings of Norria, by the God Ravnor. As he set out to find his mother Alshara, understanding her impatience and disappointment with him and his siblings. He wanted to ask for forgiveness and hopefully reform the deep bond him and his mother once shared. Traveling and searching through the most remote and unexplored worlds, Alshara was nowhere to be found. Instead Ravnor discovered worlds so horrific and unnatural, a deep and unusual fear spread through him. Ravnor ended his search and kept the discovery a secret knowing only unusual death and horrific change would come to those who entered Abstenia. The fear has never left him, a powerful god of knowledge left with the unanswered questions. The deep unknown . A world even beyond his own comprehension and the knowledge that one day, there will come a time where the worlds will collide. Bringing the end to all life , as any being as ever known it. Complete destruction , but also complete transformation into something unfathomable and new.
