Vuuding Deserts

The Vuuding Deserts are found in the north-most point of Northmarsh, largely inhospitable due to the dry and arid conditions, the deserts are home to a myriad of monsters which only aid to make the land more dangerous. Whilst you may come across small monsters such as poisonous snakes, there are rumours of an Ancient Blue Dragon prowling the lands.

Geography

A dry arid plane, the Vuuding Desert is found in the northern most part of the lands. The Vuuding Deserts are known to be inhospitable, and any adventurers travelling that way need to have their wits and supplies with them, for it is easy to become lost in the dry air and large open expanses surrounding you.
If in the western most point you will spot the tail end of the Kiko Mountains, but through the dry heat it would be easy to assume they were closer than in reality. There are no rivers or lakes through the desert, all have long dried up, and though there are some small hills the land is mostly flat and deserted. IN amongst the hills you may come across caves, but adventurers beware, in these you may find some unsavoury creatures hiding from the harsh weather.

Fauna & Flora

The Vuuding Deserts are mostly deserted of flora and fauna, but there are cacti dotted around, but beware as they could be a fabled pretender, and actually be awaiting your arrival to pounce.
Something unnatural keeps away other plant-life, and any visitors to the lands would do well to be aware of this, something has kept any other species of flora or fauna from growing aside from a few lonely cacti.

Natural Resources

The only resources available in the desert are those kept under the ground in the form of minerals and rocks. These require significant work to uncover and there are only short times in the year where researchers are able to acquire them.
