"Ardiykhal"

A mysterious Aasimar that appears to be the leader of, or at least has authority over the forces that attacked Rivercairn as shown when Gar Naz cowered when Ardiykhal expressed anger towards him for "disobeying and disappointing him". The party encountered him in the throne room of the castle in Rivercairn where he effortlessly swept them aside before killing the king and his remaining guards, stealing the "Shard" and leaving with both Gar Naz and another accomplice named Arsene through what appeared to be a doorway of light. During the encounter Ardiykhal spoke to the party as though he knew them, and the members of the party experienced strange waves of emotion and visions of varying degrees. As Ardiykhal was leaving Daxis called out "What do I want?!" as he had felt a sense of longing for something he was missing. The somber reply that Daxis received was "You want what was taken from you". With that Ardiykhal stepped into the light and vanished.
