Letter to Lord Alderp

Duke of Basaltwood,
It has come to our attention that there is a particular man currently within your city that an ally of ours wants dead. He is quite the troublesome fellow - The Black Wolf of the Empire's Kingsglaive, Ruvain Darkwood. Our ally informs me they were both dispatched to the western continent, but he was given freedom to "remove" him should the opportunity present itself - him being trapped here being such an opportunity.
Your city shall be attacked by our ally's undead minions until this man is dead. You are to withhold your personal guard from assisting with the defense of the city, the less aid he has the faster he will tire. I know that you put your own life and safety above that of the common folk, so should you follow this simple directive you will be rewarded with your life being spared and once our task in this forest is complete you shall be free to go on your way.
Should you chose to disobey me, you shall be made an example of and shall wish for death.
