The cult of Roggon is outlawed in the Sondaran Empire

Religious event

379UC

Emperor Hera'lo acting on the advice of the Grand Unified Temple outlawed the cult of Roggon. It became a criminal offence punishable by death to worship the god Roggon. The Imperial Court took this extreme measure only after convening a grand council of all the religious leaders including the then high priest of Roggon. When the Roggonite was challenged as to the claim that their cult was seeking to convert the followers of the other religions to their own they not only agreed but went further, stating that it was their duty to gather souls for their god and unite all of the lost souls within one hall. Their fate was sealed and the cult was declared heretical. The cult vanished from society as the followers fled the empire but within half a century they would resurface, this time in the far north of Nostavary.
