The ancient human city-state of Delimbiyran was founded north of the Delimbiyr River, east of Ardeep. Founded in 146 DR, it was initially part of the kingdom of Elembar. The larger state of Elembar fell in 511 DR to an orcish horde, but the well defended city of Delimbiyran survived. Delimbiyran became a founding member of the Realm of Three Crowns, Phalorm, along with elven Ardeep and dwarven Dardath in 532 DR in response to the growing orcish threat. It survived the fall of Phalorm in 615 DR to rename itself the Kingdom of Man, allying with gnomes and halflings of the region. In 697 DR the last King was assassinated without an heir, and the Kingdom of Man fell, and dissolved into petty, short-lived kingdoms such as Calandor, Scathril, and Loravatha. The city itself only survived a few short decades after the collapse of the Kingdom of Man, and was completely annihilated when an explosion of arcane energy erupted from inside the city in 714 DR.
