When Lunar arrived at Notta, he created all four subspecies of Naga, making the Earth Naga from stone, just like the Dark Dwarves came to be. However, they were different with how they couldn't swim in the water as effectively as other Naga subspecies. Warth led them until Stricord's Betrayal.

Sorcelems

Earth Naga were magic users that specialized in both rune and elemental magic. This gave them a place in Runic Towers that prioritized in protecting their home and supporting soldiers in battle. It wasn't only on the battlefield they assisted others in, but counsel through rune readings. The Runemaster taught all Naga that lived in Runic Towers the art of this magic. With this, they gained a market and to help their fears.

Biology

Their earth magic gives their scales protective stone armor, able to stop bleeding. Even slices from metal swords never stood a chance against this magic armor. The power is born with every Earth Naga, however; it makes reproducing harder.
This was why the Fire Naga helped in this process with Earth Naga eggs. The Earth Naga eggs, made of pure stone, were hard to keep warm in the cooler winter months. If the egg didn't have sufficient heat during this month, it would die before it broke out of the shell. The shell itself would be barren and brittle.

Physical Traits

Earth Naga had scales and a tail they slithered with to move around. Their faces were human-like, with fins as ears. However, their torsoes differed from the other subspecies, crystalized of stone. Some Earth Naga rarely got gems embedded into their stone upper half. Those that did were more powerful in their magical abilities. These Naga had yellow and brown slitted eyes and earthy tones for skin. Males had hair on the center of their heads while females could have full headed hair. Their hair colors were a range of browns.

Naming Traditions

All Naga male names ended with -ash or -ush, and female names ended with -asj or -ij. Earth Naga's last names involved the shadows and the earth of the land, such as Shadowsong or Stonetarrow.

Notable Earth Naga

The first Runemaster appointed by Warth was an Earth Naga. Gertasj Shadowsong was an accomplished Sorcelem that led her people into a prosperous age. She became a part of the Angel's Council with the other masters of Notta.
