The Legend

Fortune Tellers of the Divination Division said thus, Stricord's Scar held a chamber that stored a Demon that granted wishes. Those who needed her aid would seek it. However, great sacrifice would take place. One that would determine the fate of Notta. Skoon, desperate to bring her love back, ignored these warnings. The Goddess of the sky and moon forsook her people in order to get what she wanted. To bring back the last Skymaster of Crystal Towers.

The legend the fortune tellers of Runic Towers spoke true. With Skoon's reckless actions, she brought devastation to the world of eternal night. Stricord and the Dark Dwarves killed or enslaved all those who stood against them. Those that were trying to just survive struggled against the scar she manifested into the world's very soil, Stricord's Scar.
There was sanctuary established, but by themselves, they were nothing but tiny insects to Stricord's power. Only another Angel or Demon could hope to stand against her, but the Gods were slain before they could unite and face her together.

Notta's Salvation

100 years had passed since the first legend fortune tellers told. Runemaster Versash was asking questions to his runes when he found an answer. The hidden chamber would once again become relevant. However, instead of devastation, there could be salvation. Versash kept this reading to himself for some time, until one worthy to descend into the chamber would show themself. The Runemaster realized this could be past his lifetime, but he could only hope he would live to see it.
This legend spoke of those from Notta and another world descended the chamber, and one would ascend as an Angel. Therefore, this ascendant stroked Stricord and her allies down with the help of the otherworlders. Prosperity came to Notta once more.
