Pillar of the Aurora

On the northeastern corner of Nov Matar there sits the Pillar of the Aurora, one of the eight Pillars of Heaven. About ten feet across at the base and a hundred feet high, the pillar is rough-hewn out of what looks like pure emerald. When the auroras are high and bright the Pillar responds in kind, glimmering in the dark as if filled with the mysterious heavenly lights.
