Rite Of Adulthood

Rite Of Adulthood is the tradition of the Valcorens of killing a deadly beast to show that you are worthy of being called an adult

History

This tradition started as a way for the chief of a tribe to choose after the old one died then over time it transformed into a method for young men to prove that they are ready for the rights and responsibilities that come with being an adult.

Execution

The young man is sent out to hunt and kill a great predator of their land

Components and tools

The weapon he is sent out with is up to the family so it could be anything from an old knife to the family's carbine

Participants

The young man is the only one allowed on the hunt

Observance

When a young man believes he is ready he may ask his tribes chief if he may take on the Rite Of Adulthood
