The party travels along the Crystal Road and stops at the Mushroom Grotto for the night. Phyrra receives a letter from Halisstra reading:

Sister Valae'Phinne, due to overlapping interests between the various temples, we would like you to report to the Ebon Library within the Crystal Meadows with all of your travelling companions. It has come to the attention of High Arcanist Elvanya Cormrael that Arcanist Tebraen Mlezzir is among your party, she has asked that you inform him that she's "never letting him back out in the field if he comes to the meeting with disorganized and rambling notes". Please report to Sister Eudora at the Council's Hall so she may grant you access to the Crystal Meadows. You are expected at 3pm on the 30th. Signed, Head Priestess Halisstra Yauntyrr

The party arrives at the Glass Gate of Taureluum, every single one fails the save against zone of truth, they learn Remi's real name is Blar. Before their meeting, they drop their luggage off at Telorra's Boarding house. While there they briefly meet a frazzled human teen and his tiefling toddler sister. Phyrra takes everyone to the Gilded Fey Lounge, in hopes of getting jobs for Sigrid and Remi. Mason, the earth genasi bouncer with dark, golden veined skin, lets everyone but Moonseeker and Tebraen in. In the lounge, the owner, Lesmyr Do'ett hires Sigrid and suggests a themed night of sorts for Eglath to entertain the noble ladies, who have recently gotten into all things ghost and spiritual. Remi has disappeared. Meanwhile, Tebraen brings Moonseeker to visit Auntie at the Chubby Carrot and gets him a drink called Green Jelly, which makes him a fantastic dancer. The rest of the party arrives as Moonseeker is tearing up the dance floor. Moonseeker then torments the reappeared Remi by making him dance.

The party then makes their way to the Crystal Meadows and Ebon Library for the meeting. Halisstra waits at the door as they arrive. At the meeting table were five drow.

They ask the party to recap what happened in the Wastes and Stagspire and inform them that they will be contacted in the near future for potential work in the Wastes. Elvanya informs them that usually the Dusk or Dawn Heralds would escort researchers, but they have recently had their hands full.

Leaving the meeting, the party goes to the Halls of Vashana to drop off Tebraen's notes. Then Moonseeker, Eglath, and Tebraen go to the Raven's Quill tattoo shop, owned by a crimson haired drow woman named Sabala Melrae, so Tebraen can make a payment. Tebraen is taken aback that Eglath knows of Quillyn and wants to meet him.

Phyrra talks to the drunk monks, who don't know if Nulliira is at the monastery because they are drunk and don't remember if she was part of the group that left to train in the deep Underdark. Tebraen and Moonseeker drink Mindflayer, which reduces intelligence by 10 points. Tebraen gives Phyrra a book for plant identification, allowing her to identify her four remaining specimen, but says she needs to remind him in the morning to bring it back to the library. Remi gives the group a package from Ildra. The bag itself is a Pouch of Holding and inside are three packages each with 372 gp because hint hint

There is also a dagger called the Sol Shard in the pouch.

Phyrra goes to the temple to pray, Tebraen attempts to get Moonseeker to understand that skinny dipping in the city is a problem, and Eglath runs off to the Outer Pillar. There, he meets with Quillyn at the Raven's Roost. Quillyn wants monster parts and other artifacts from the Wastes, he tells Eglath that if he returns tomorrow, he can get a list of the specific needs of the artificers.

The night ends with the party scattered. Phyrra at the boarding house, Eglath at the Gilded Fey, and Moonseeker on the floating platform of the Halls of Vashana.
