The Star Child
The following is a fairytale and legend based on the history of Queen Juriside, the Vessel of Death and ruler of Abaddon. Whilst this interpretation of true events may not be factual, many believe this is the true history of the demonic Queen. Demonic children are often recited this tale to inspire reverence towards Queen Juriside.
In the cosmic tapestry, a star child's birth,
Wrapped in flesh and feather, a celestial mirth.
A meteorite from heavens far,
Descended to earth, a celestial star.Abandoned by the creator's tender grace,
Into a realm of sorrow, she found her place.
Mortal darkness, a cloak so wide,
Enveloped the star child in shadows beside.
An angel lost in this earthly space,
No family or friends, no warm embrace.
Alone she stood in the quiet gloam,
Wandering in realms far from home.
Through realms of fear, she bravely tread,
Disease, Violence, Death in her path spread.
Yet, with time's soft, weaving hand,
These fears transformed, a cosmic band.
In a realm where moonlight softly gleams,
A star child, lost in her silent dreams.
White wings, a solace in the night,
Feathers protecting her, a celestial light.
As she journeyed through the mortal fray,
Compassion stirred, guiding her way.
Witnessing sorrow, hearts in blight,
She plucked her feathers, a tender plight.
Pluck, pluck, the rhythm soft,
Each feather offered, a sacrifice aloft.
Pluck, pluck, one by one,
The pain of others where becoming undone.
Pluck, pluck, a healing hand,
She had taken all she could withstand,
Rose blood, a trail on her back,
A testament to kindness, in shadows' track.
Alone in the pain of her selfless deed,
Her heart ached, in sorrow it would bleed.
A demon, dark as the midnight hour,
Saw her anguish, her soul's frail flower.
Embracing the star child, he whispered near,
"Do not weep, child, banish your fear.
From despair, I'll take you, gently and warm,
Into my arms, away from the storm."
Feathers anew, black as the night,
Gifted by the demon, a comforting sight.
The star child, cradled in shadows' embrace,
Found solace in darkness, a kindred grace.
In a realm where shadows dance and play,
A demon named Amon, powerful and gray.
His heart aflame, with a quest profound,
To free demons from their hellish bound.
The star child, once in shadows' sway,
Taken by Amon, her fate astray.
Raised as his own, in darkness schooled,
She watched him closely as he ruled.
But Amon, once noble, turned to the night,
A tyrant emerging, with power in sight.
A tyrant rose, a darkened hand,
Forcing obedience across the land.
He promised freedom, safety and care,
But lead his people into despair,
His black blood, a plague on the land,
Forcing even his daughter to obey his command.
His perfect daughter, in love he'd sway,
Forced to obey, in shadows she'd stay.
But the star child, with kindness so bright,
Broke her father's will, in the midnight.
Reason failed, her heart heavy with woe,
In a swift attack, she struck a blow.
Midnight blood, into the earth it seeped,
Amon defeated, his tyrant reign reaped.
In his final words, a lament so deep,
"Daughter, you've abandoned, into the dark you creep.
May my blackened blessing, a curse now be,
Slay those you love, a fate decree."
Freed her people, a noble feat,
Yet, a cost concealed, a sorrowful sheet.
Unknown to her heart, a tragic twist,
Her touch a venom, a fatal kiss.
Believing in liberation, a sacrifice made,
A new horror dawned, a price to be paid.
Anyone she touched met their end,
A curse unbidden, a fate to comprehend.
Unaware, she sought to celebrate,
Entering with joy, her people to elate.
Alas, true death embraced her kin,
Her presence, a harbinger of the dark within.
In deep despair, underground she crept,
Isolating herself, where silence wept.
Alone in the dark, her heart a stark spark,
Awaiting destiny in shadows, so stark.
As tears fell, a touch so tender,
Calming hands, a presence to render.
She turned to see, with eyes wide,
Disease, Violence, and Death by her side.
In the depths of sorrow, where shadows sighed,
The star child wept, in the darkness bide.
Calming hands touched her shoulders, tender and wise,
Their looks of kindness, a surprising guise.
Turning with fear, she met their gaze,
Those once dreaded, in this shadowed maze.
Disease, with eyes of pity, spoke first,
“Your kindness shattered chains, a blessing unrehearsed.”
“Forever free, your people shall stand,
No shackles of slavery in your command.”
Violence then, with fiery embrace,
“Battle's fury, your power shall grace.”
“May you stand tall, never to fall,
A shield for your people, protecting all.”
Lastly, Death, with a tearful gaze,
Embraced the child in a gentle daze.
“You're a beacon of death, in shadows' flight,
In this dance with darkness, you hold the light.
I bestow upon you my power so divine,
Control the death that within you entwines.”
A single tear fell, a crystalline bead,
As Death bestowed her gift, a sacred deed.
The star child transformed, a vessel she'd become,
A guardian of demons, in shadows, she'd succumb.
Forever she lingers, in realms unseen,
A keeper of secrets, a sovereign queen.
She is a protector, keeper and lover to all,
Caring for all no matter how small.
That took some work!
