Courier

A courier is a person who delivers parcels and goods on behalf of businesses and private individuals. They tend to work with the Traders who move the packages from one location to another. Couriers pick up the packages from the traders and deliver them to the recipient. Couriers can also be responsible for picking up orders and taking them to traders to be shipped to their recipient.

The Courier Profession can be learnt from talking Caitlyn Corvine, who can be found in the Raven Express! Trade & Post Office. Caitlyn will ask you if you would like to become a Courier, you will have the option to accept or decline. If you accept, she will give you a package to deliver. One of the perks to the Thief Profession is that you can also have one of the AoC professions. Please Note: In order to be able to talk to Caitlyn, you need to have completed the 'Broken Highway' quest chain, and the required 'Port Haven Town' tour questline.

Talk to Caitlyn in Port Haven Post Office to learn the Courier Profession.

You can pick up or deliver up to 5 packages a day.

When you are first learning the profession you are going to make mistakes, such as losing or breaking the packages. As you get better at the job, you will make fewer mistakes and get paid more.

There are three types of packages to be delivered: Normal, Fragile, and a Pile.

Package deliveries or order pick ups are randomly given.

There are 5 levels to the Courier Profession. (Successful Delivery Chance = SDC, Lost Package Chance = LPC, Broken Package Chance = BPC)

Level 1

Rank: Courier Trainee

Requirements: Accept the job from Caitlyn.

Condition:

Can deliver or pick up 5 Packages a day

In and around the town of Port Haven only

Level 1 Skill:

Normal Packages: SDC = 2, LPC = 3, BPC = 3.

Fragile Packages: SDC = 2, LPC = 2, BPC = 4.

Pile of Packages: SDC = 2, LPC = 4, BPC = 2.

Successful Delivery Pay:

Pick up Orders: = 15 Gold +Skill increase

Normal Packages: = 20 Gold +Skill increase

Fragile Packages: = 30 Gold +Skill increase

Pile of Packages: = 40 Gold +Skill increase

Cost of Re-Ordering:

Paycut = none

Level 2

Rank: Courier Domestic

Requirements: 10 successful deliveries.

Condition:

Can deliver or pick up 5 Packages a day

In and around town and the River Biome

Level 1 Skill:

Normal Packages: SDC = 3, LPC = 2, BPC = 2.

Fragile Packages: SDC = 3, LPC = 1, BPC = 3.

Pile of Packages: SDC = 3, LPC = 3, BPC = 1.

Successful Delivery Pay:

Pick up Orders: = 35 Gold +Skill increase

Normal Packages: = 40 Gold +Skill increase

Fragile Packages: = 50 Gold +Skill increase

Pile of Packages: = 60 Gold +Skill increase

Level 3

Requirements: 30 successful deliveries.

Can deliver or pick up 5 Packages a day

Requirements: 60 successful deliveries

Can deliver or pick up as many Packages as you like

Important Information:

Be Warned: if you choose to be rude or a smartass to your delivery recipiant after you have lost or broken one of their packages, Caitlyn will find out. This could result in a further pay reduction, a demotion (this would mean less pay till you prove yourself), or being suspended for a few days (this would mean you can make any deliveries for a period of time).

If you have lost or broken a package, you may be able to take further steps such as find a lost package, or find a part for a broken one. This would result in you recieving the payment for successful delivery.
