Steadfaster

The people of the Steadfast come in many shapes, sizes, and colours.
There are two things that tie all the kingdoms of the Steadfast together in a manner that allows one to refer to them as a single people: the Order of Truth and merchant caravans. The Aeon Priests of the Order can be found in just about every village in the Steadfast, usually in either a position of power or as an advisor to the aldeia. Many of them run schools to educate the young and teach them some of the history of their world. They also help spread the common tounge "The Truth" to new & outlying villages. While Aeon Priests usually stick to their aldeia, caravans are what link these villages. Trade caravans travel well known routes for the most part, keeping to roads known to be safe. Some merchants -- enduring risk for a chance at higher profits -- make circuits between the more remote villages and a nearby large city. In either case merchants are what bring news and gossip to the aldeia, keeping them informed of the wider world.
