Town Well

The "well" in Ararholm is actually a numenera able to produce roughly 400 liters of water per day. This is enough for the current population of Ararholm to have enough for drinking and cooking, but not much else.
The well seems to pull this water from some other location, either that or it creates it on the fly. The main limiting factor on how much water the well can create seems to be tied to energy. Currently the well is powered by some kind of solar battery, which limits how much power can be stored; and how quickly it recharges. A full charge of the battery can produce nearly twice as many liters of water but recharging takes several days. During that recharge period the well is unusable.
"400 liters" has been settled on as a maximum due to the fact that it's enough to provide for the current number of townsfolk and the batter is able to recharge enough to produce that much water again the next day. Mex has installed a device that monitors the outflow of water, and signals when the daily limit of 400 liters is approaching. It doesn't shut off or otherwise regulate the device so townsfolk can ignore the flashing red light if they really need water.
