Captain Bernarius Kaiser was an officer of the Ostnic Army and a second lieutenant of the Pacificatores. He was killed during his first assignment with the later and his body was never found. He was promoted from the rank of lieutenant to captain postmortem as honor for his service.

Childhood and Early Life
Bernarius Kaiser was born into a poor family in Osternfel who had to give him in to slavery to cover their debts. Fortunately, this bout of slavery provided Bernarius with invaluable skills and he became a gladiator at the age of 18. Making a name for himself as the local champion, several mercenary groups approached and tried to recruit him.Joining the Blackhawks
The only group who successfuly appealed to him was Blackhawk Company, who offered him more money and even a higher rank. He worked for the company for 15 years, participated in more battles and contracts than he could remember. Even when situations seem dire for his group, he never abandoned his contracts and fulfilled them to the best of his abilities. For this he was renowned as one of the most trustworthy mercenaries in the Andorian Alliance.Retirement
The life of war took their tolls and Bernarius grew sick and tired of killing for money, he started having nightmares in his sleep, he would dream of days when his men were slaughtered like cattle and his scars started to ache. He decided he would quit this life but not before fulfilling the terms of his contract with Blackhawk Company. He stayed on for another year, then finally left this life behind. He retired to a small cottage near karc in Arvernfel.Joining the Pacificatores
It turned out that nobody had a need for a veteran mercenary other than caravans passing through and from the city. He took on a few jobs as a caravan guard but quickly grew tired of it. Just as he was giving up hope of finding steady work, he came across a newsletter written about the Pacificatores. Intrigued by the idea of catching criminals and he figured he would try his luck and went to sign up. The organization welcomed him into their ranks and in after a quick training period he was appointed as an officer, in charge of his very own group. He would often say he "didn’t like to think of himself as an officer, rather a wise old war veteran who can, with a bit of luck, guide the young men under his command to be better."Death
For his third deployment as a lieutenant, he was tasked to command a company of Pax Venatores, elite law-bringers of the organization. He rendezvous with the group in Caeris for their first task but was kidnapped and later killed by people working for Blue Eyed Sevi. Bernarius left no known kin or offspring.
