The Gnomengrade incident
The Gnomengrade incident, known by gnomes as the 'Gnomengrade Massacre' was a retaliation attack by the armed forces of the Inquisition in 1323 on the gnome city of Gnomengarde. The inquisition entered the city and accidentally set off an explosion close to the settlement Ovalapi, destroying it completely. more than 50 gnomes and 30 Venatores died in the following collapse. The incident is considered to be the final catalyst for the Kingdom of Dam Lodir intervention in the The Great Kadian Split.
