Emperor Graves Renault

Graves Renault is the current leader of was a general who defended the Empire in the last great war and when he returned he declared himself the new Emperor. He is renowned for his military prowess and tactical mind.

Personal History

Graves was born into the minor noble house Renault. From a young age, he showed a great talent for combat and strategy. Once he was a young man, it did not take long for his peers in the military to take note not only of his talent but his ambition.
When Pericles IV fell during the Indarran-Peraxian war, Graves saw the opportunity to seize power for himself. He seized control of the military with few complaints, as the other generals had already seen that he was by far the most capable among them, and when the war was won few could argue when he took the Imperial Throne for himself.
