Ignissa

Ignissa is the chief deity of the Eight Divines. She is a goddess of life, fire and light.

Appearance

Ignissa typically appears and is depicted as a great flaming bird. Despite her flaming appearance it is said that those in her presence experience nothing but a gentle warmth radiated from her body.

Followers

Being one of the Eight Divines, the chief followers of Ignissa are the Indarrans. Ignissa is the primary deity of the Eight, and as such you are likely to find at the very least a shrine to her in most settlements across the empire. Her church is the largest in the empire, and her clerics are known as the Fire Birds.
