Qevrun
Geography
Qevrun boasts the tallest mountain in the world, Ryznyov ocid-Mattaki*. Although the 5525ft peak is part of a range of mountians that cuts between the Golyan Confederation and Berezia, both sides regard that particular peak as being cursed and both produce maps showing on their neghbour's side of the border. Attempts several have been made, no one has successfully summited the peak.

Ecosystem
In 4.849, the behanbon swamp in Namata was the site of first contact with an independent member of the Zoshuku people, who became known as Gohi Nenrun Pahya. This contact predated the discovery of the Behanbon Cluster in 5.6. The zegyon-hapanyu river delta was given to Gohi Nenrun Pahya when they ascended to elderhood in 5.344, and remains a national park.
Fauna & Flora
Although the northern extreme the zoshuku influence on the environment is unknown, though unlikely to be further north than Toinu, the southernmost states - Tel and Ctelia - have decalared the islands of Erisphia, Badia, and Teria as protected from development due to their known age and cultural significance.
Natural Resources
The ogonyon-beharenban bay between Toinu and Mara proved to be an ideal location to cultivate goldenscale algae for the production of phykoleum, and the techniques now used for commercial farming of goldenscale were developed in this region.
History
The ancestral home of the ljudoy and zoshuku, Qevrun was never settled by the first people. The emergent cultures are primarily ljudoy in the north and pyvat in the south.
Established in 4.611, the Golyan Confederation is one of the world's oldest democracies. The massive metal plates of the articles of the Golyan Confederation in Rokov are now a protected world heritage site.
Tourism
Tourism in Qevrun is primarily intra-continental, or from the northern areas of Iasteron and western Xohura. Despite the unforgiving climate, the Golyan Confederation is by far the most popular tourist destination, welcoming nearly a million visitors a year. The primary attractions of Goly are the ton jyttodykh*, architecture, opera, hunting, skiing, and other outdoor activities. The ice palace of the confederation in Rokov is considered one of the wonders of world architecture, and the city is accessible via river-boat from either Lobolotk or Ilhany with future plans, being developed in conjunction with Qamourum Aeronautics in Nukinia, to reconfigure the port to accept the world's first ekranoplan service.
