Administrator

Administrators are top-tier officials that oversee the operations of the Coalfell Institute. Most of the Administrators are close to the age of retirement, almost always over 65 years old, and are privy to top secret information. As of June 9th, 1901, only 5 Administrators remained at the Institute. Administrators are usually people who have faced the Cosmic Pantheon in some way and survived. Their sanity is durable and well-protected. Rumors in the lower ranks suggest the Administrators may have access to eldritch knowledge that gives them unique and dangerous power, but these rumors are mostly unfounded. Administrators identities are also kept secret from the other members of the Coalfell Institute. They send all of their messages by telegram or type-printed letters through proxies or liaisons. On occasion, they masquerade as the their underlings to gauge how effective their subordinates are at their jobs.

Qualifications

While anyone could technically become an Administrator, the position is almost exclusively comprised of Institute members over the age of 65. Each Administrator should have been exposed to the eldritch horrors of the Cosmic Pantheon before ascending to this title.
