Ahmen-Thet
Ahmen-Thet is a 2000 year-old Exotic God that is the embodiment of sickness, plague, and decay. Wood rots in his presence. People grow sick around him. His hieroglyphs blister on the skins of the infected and grow mold into the walls. He is less a god of sickness and more a god of mutation, alchemically reducing the physical forms of his victims into their “natural state.”
The Sufferers are the people who are infected with Ahmen-Thet's plague. It can manifest in a number of ways, but usually results in blisters or lacerations in the shape of Ahmen-Thet's hieroglyph. The Sufferers will typically become emaciated, pallid in color, and excrete blood-infused pus. The Sufferers typically lose their minds as a result of the infection. On rare occasions (usually demonic bargains), Sufferers are actually cured of diseases or wounds, while the sickness within them lies dormant, passing on to those they love.
